As time passes by only a few things stay unaltered.

The disappearance can have many appearances.
Things can break, fade, wither, slowly dissolve into nothingness or be removed by a sudden act.

The traces of time are powerful storytellers of what has already taken place but at the same time they tell us that nothing stays forever.
